Space-Time Continuum and ghosts theory?
Albert Einstein said:
“Time is hard to define. For starters you cannot see or touch it, but its effects are clearly visible. The evidence that we are moving through time is found in everything: our bodies age, buildings weather and crumble, trees grow, etc. The effects of time on our physical surrounding are very real. Apart from that, time is also defined as the fourth dimension of the universe with the other three being space dimensions.”
Space and time are involved in a special relationship. So tightly that you might wonder if either of them could exist without the other. This interconnected relationship of space and time is called the space-time continuum, which means that any event that occurs in the universe has to involve both space and time. A simple example of this relationship would be that two objects cannot exist in the same space at the same time but they have to be in their 'own' time/ dimension, so they might occupy the same space, but in a different time or what would be called a dimension. It is believed that there is possibly a unlimited number of unseen dimensions.
You maybe asking yourself, what dose this theory have to do with ghost or the paranormal? What if ghosts occupy the same space but in another dimensions such as possibly the 5th or even the 6th dimension; one that can't be seen with the human eye? The possibly of a unlimited number of dimension is only limited to our reality. Once a person pasted over in to a new dimension, or form of light, or matter, possibly even dark matter; we know that a object will “occupy a space” and not be within the same-time or visible by normal light. Albert Einstein also said: The First Law of Thermal Dynamics - “Energy is nether created or destroyed, it just changes form.” Our body itself is made up of chemical compounds, but it is powered by electrical impulses in the brain. So what is energy? Energy is a source of power that is only limited by how it is used. First we have to look at a human body as being like a battery, that thinks. A higher level type of a computer for a lack of word's. People who have pasted over become something new once their energy is released from their body. This new form possibly can occupy a space but under different types of energy and only manifest itself on occasion. Edgar Cayce said that “time is an illusion”, once you no longer have a body to age anymore, time no longer excises. In a dimension that has no time you can move or alter the space-time continuum at will. You are no longer bound to the effects of time on your physical surrounding. The relationship between the space and time would be changed and no longer in play for a ghost.

Permalink Reply by Jimmy David on March 1, 2012 at 4:31pm I had an episode of sleep paralysis 2 days ago (wich made me decide to join this site) and i thought excatly that to myself. What if that particular situation created the optimal conditions for the electric energy that powers my brain to bind with energies of another dimension (a dimension co-existing with us in this space-time, only housing another frame)? Because i felt presences around me in the room and i have no way to explain it. I know that it could be just an illusion of the mind, but why don't people create and live their very own particular illusions (?) why does everybody, from any part of the world, describe the EXACT same sort of experience? What if those creatures are what reside in another dimension, and we are allowed to interact with them under sleep paralysis?
Permalink Reply by GUARD on March 2, 2012 at 11:16am That is a good question.
First let's look at what sleep paralysis is medically first.
Sleep paralysis:
A frightening form of paralysis that occurs when a person suddenly finds himself or herself unable to move for a few minutes, most often upon falling asleep or waking up. Sleep paralysis is due to an ill-timed disconnection between the brain and the body.
The symptoms of sleep paralysis include sensations of noises, smells, levitation, paralysis, terror, and images of frightening intruders. Once considered very rare, about half of all people are now believed to experience sleep paralysis sometime during their life. Sleep paralysis strikes as a person is moving into or out of REM (rapid eye movement) sleep, the deepest part of sleep. During REM sleep the body is largely disconnected from the brain leaving the body paralyzed. Sleep paralysis is the result of premature (or persistent) mind-body disconnection as one is about to enter into (or exit from) REM sleep. Sleep paralysis occurs most often after jet lag or periods of sleeplessness that interrupt the normal REM patterns. It affects both sexes equally and occurs at all ages but is most common in teenagers. Sleep paralysis can be familial and may be genetic (inherited) in some cases.
An attack of sleep paralysis is usually harmless and self-limited. It tends to be over in a minute or two as soon as the brain and body re-establish connections and the person is able to move again. However, the memory of the terrifying sensations felt during sleep paralysis can long endure. (Some scholars believe that sleep paralysis may account for some of the old claims of attacks by witches, seeing ghost, being touched by unseen hands and the more recent "reports" of nocturnal abduction by space aliens.)
One of the things you are saying is that the sleep paralsis episode's are lasting for a long time? If so you could be sensitive while going into REM sleep to outside forces. Some people are more sensitive to the feeling that someone is in the room even when no one is in the room with you. I would say set up a camera with nightvision and type yourself. There could be more interactions going on the meets the eye. You could also try using a digital recoder in the room while you sleep. While REM sleep has been looking at for a number years for answers its possible that it's not the only one. If these beings are crossing over into our dimension, then more that likly they don't known that they are. Sleep state is a work in progress and the brain is complex. If we pass over into another dimension when we are dead, what would it make us? I have has dreams of pass love ones who was so real that I could feel them, touch the and smell them as if they were their.
Thanks for you responce.

Permalink Reply by Jimmy David on March 3, 2012 at 12:57am Interesting thing, your visions. Are you sure those "beings" really were the people you think they were?
A spy cam wouldn't be that bad of an idea, in my case, although i have only had these episodes (strange thing) when i sleep over at my gf's house, and i not always sleep there. Maybe in the future, though...
There's another small detail those "scientists" overlook. How can i explain it (?) Well, i still remember the first time i felt presences in the room. It was a couple, looking at me from a distance of 5 or 6 feet. Somehow, i could sense the male was more wicked. It took me a few seconds to realise those eerie "people" shouldn't be there. I got quite a fright. Right after, the man jumped on me and grabbed my wrists. I felt an intense grip, almost like an electric shock. I snapped out of it, scared. Now let's think!!... If i was creating the whole scenario in my head, the visions should be the result of what i was felling, not otherwise. In other words, i should have felt first a weird feeling in my hands and THEN my brain should have created something to "fit" that feeling. How could i know what the touch of the man would feel like in advance, since there was no man but instead a mere illusion? Like me, many people describe similar things: the Incubus stretches his arms and (then) he starts choking the victim. The sufucation seems too real... but how does the person's brain create the fake attack first and feel the result after, when there shouldn't be any real attack to be felt?

This sounds to me like the theory below called Electrical sensitivity.
One theory is called Electrical sensitivity, and the document was given to me by paranormal group called at the time BSPHI. If you are having this feelings on a day by day encounter, I would get an EMF meter and do a sweep of the location. You mike be shock to see if you have a high EMF field running in you location. Here is a little more below that enplanes what could happen if you are sensitivity to such electrical fields. I hope that you are getting the answers you might be looking for and I hope that this will help you find them.
What it is:
Electrical sensitivity (ES) - sometimes called electro-sensitivity, electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS), radio-wave illness or microwave sickness - is a condition in which a person experiences physical and/or psychological symptom that are aggravated by electric or magnetic fields (EMF) or other electromagnetic waves at exposure levels tolerated by the general public. It is debatable whether EMF exposure causes sufferers' symptoms and the balance of evidence from studies so far indicates that the link is false. (However, keep in mind that studies are only as good as the subjects that are tested.) There are over 30 studies into electrical sensitivity of which the majority has found no relationship between electromagnetic fields and symptoms being suffered. The World Health Organization states that there is no known scientific basis for such a link; but many sufferers and their support groups are firmly convinced of a relationship.
Electrical sensitivity symptoms:
In a recent ES survey, the five most common symptoms experienced when EMF exposed were:
Skin itch/rash/flushing/burning and/or tingling
Confusion/poor concentration and/or memory loss
Fatigue/weakness
Headache
Chest pain/heart problems
Less commonly reported symptoms included:
Nausea
Panic attacks
Insomnia
Seizures
Ear pain/ringing in the ears
Feeling a vibration
Paralysis
Dizziness
Pressure in the chest
Facial flushing
Pain or burning in the eyes
Pressure in/behind the eyes
Itching
Burning
Skin rash / Bruising
Pain or pressure in the chest
Shortness of breath
Anxiety
Irritability
Numbness / tingling
Dryness of lips, tongue, mouth, eyes
More severe reactions can include:
Brief hallucinations
Paralysis
Psychosis
Stroke
Some ES patients experience only one symptom when EMF exposed, but often more than one symptom is apparent. Electromagnetic frequency sensitivity testing can be done at a facility such as the Environmental Health Center in Dallas, Texas to determine if an individual has electrical sensitivity. An Electrical Sensitivity Diagnostic Kit may be helpful in determining which type of ES affects an individual (AC magnetic fields, electric fields only, or DC fields) by exposing the subject to one type of EMF at a time in order to analyze the cause of symptoms.
Once again great questions.
