We are born, we live, and die, sometimes before we are ready. The big question is what happens after death. Do we go to Heaven with clouds and the pearly gates? Do we go to Hell with the fire and brimstone? If I were to die today and find myself walking on clouds and eating cream cheese by the pearly gates I would be shocked. It really seems as it were like a fairy tale. Is it possible that we all become ghosts? It certainly seems so if you listen to what the spirits say. My nephew Jonathan died a couple of years ago. My nephew had been driving with four passengers in the car, including my son Joe when he had a seizure. They all managed to stop the car. Joe pulled his cousin from the car and began CRP and continued until help arrive. Unfortunately, he never regained consciousness and was pronounced dead at the hospital. While at the hospital and laying on a gurney my deceased nephew Jonathan managed to make a cell phone call. The caller ID reported it came from Jonathan’s home number, no one was at home because they were all with Jonathan at the hospital. The message was for my son Joe and it was Jonathan voice, he said “Joseph it’s not your fault.” Quite an amazing task for someone who has just pasted away.
After Jonathan's funeral I went back to Jonathans home and into his room, I had my digital voice recorder. I asked him to speak to me, then I got a feeling he was hiding in another room. I entered the room and said, Jonathan could you be hiding in here please speak to me now, his reply in his own voice was “How’d you notice?” This is proof enough for me that the soul does go on after death. I have been able to speak to my nephew on many occasions. I even spoke with him today, he always replies and has been known to leave messages on my answering machine when he wants to get his point across. Shortly after he died I was working on a missing person’s case, when out of the blue Jonathan says” I can assist you”. I was thankful for the help and what better detective could one have. I have asked Jonathan many questions about death and the afterlife. At one time, I asked him what it looks like where he is, his reply made me feel somewhat stupid he said; “Silly it’s just like it is where you are, I am in the same place”. He was standing right next to me. Another question was what is the most amazing thing I will find out when I died the answer was “That you can be anywhere just by thinking about it”. I asked him if it hurt when he died he said; “You’ll never believe it, I was in my body a while after I died.” I asked the question about reincarnation, but someone else answered that one, she said: “if I knew it would be easy I’d come back”. That reply makes me think if I could come back would I want to? Think about it! Annie:)
