CPI was formed by a group of friends having years of experience investigating the Unknown. We make use of a wide variety of equipment to document, record, or debunk paranormal activity. CPI also takes into account the human side of the experience.
We are here to assist our community, all services are provided free of charge
CPI is open to sharing our findings, research, and investigation techniques with other groups and investigators. Our Members are located in Northern Il, Chicago Area, Southern Wisconsin, and Milwaukee.

Mission Statement:

To explore the paranormal, providing accurate research, validating the experiences for believers, understanding and proof for nonbelievers. Our research will document hard environmental data and take into consideration any human experiences. We will uphold the confidentiality of all of our clients. Our goal is also to work, collectively, with other paranormal groups to broaden and share our knowledge, data and investigation techniques.

Equipment:

We use a wide variety of equipment on our investigations, from our minds to sensitive meters and data logging equipment. We also have good variety of photographic equipment including film, digital, and video. We make use of security equipment, and are always trying to come up with new avenues to expand our investigation techniques. We are more then willing to share information on what we do so contact us with any questions. We are willing to supply other groups with a trained investigator and equipment use, contact us if you are interested.

Conclusion:

In our opinion no one knows exactly what it is we are looking for, so there is no “ghost meter”. Instead we are using this equipment to supplement the human experience and try to learn more about these. We try to come up with new ideas for this and will give most things a try. There are many other things we could list here but so far we are keeping it to the most common. If we ever find the one thing that gets better results, you will find it here. Why we do this…

We can give you a long explanation of trying to get proof of life after death, why do some people refuse to leave and cross over, etc. We also do it for the rush of capturing something on any of the equipment we use and not have a natural explanation. Those oh so rare times, waiting for hours, doing many investigations for just a few seconds of experiencing something that we cant explain. We are all seeking that validation, the proof that will allow us to believe without a doubt that there is not only life after death but that we can come back or that maybe we never leave…To consider that we may have the opportunity to come back and scare the hell out of people…

How we were brought together…

We all met while being members of a former group. Though being with the other group didn’t work out for us becoming great friends did. We created a circle of friends, a circle of trust, understanding, the ability to tell one another the other is wrong, argue together, laugh together, and sometimes even cry together. We also shared an understanding of what each wanted out of a team and so we got together and shared thoughts, ideas, and debated over different decisions and the more we talked the more we knew this was it.

For those of you ghost hunters that are reading this you know there is nothing more important that the trust you have in your team mate. The more we talked and shared ideas the more we knew that this was good. We started to build the foundation of the group; we didn’t have a name yet, ideas, not one we voted on, but we knew what we wanted to accomplish for the team

Approach-

After you contact CPI, a lead investigator will speak with you for further information. At this time we will consider the paranormal activity and decide if further investigation is warranted. In that event, extensive research on the location and it's history will be conducted by CPI, with your written permission. Please keep in mind that all information obtained will be kept strictly confidential.

Next, if an investigation has been deemed necessary, CPI will present suggestions as to the size and scope of the investigation. Final approval of dates, times, and magnitude of the investigation will be decided in advance..

On the day of the investigation, we ask that only family members, or parties specifically needed for the investigation be present. We are parents too, and will keep the highest level of professionalism, decorum, and care where children are concerned. After our arrival, we will formally introduce our team, and have you sign our confidentiality agreements and waivers. Our walk through of the location will then be conducted. It is important that we have full access to the areas where activity is occurring. We will also respect areas where you do not wish for us to investigate. A timeline of the investigation will be supplied if requested.

After our equipment is set up, we ask that any parties not necessary to the investigation be segregated to one area of the location. Our investigations are based on observation, and as little noise or disturbance as possible will aid in our procedures. Through the investigation we will be taking pictures, video, audio, and other data deemed pertinent.

CPI will not disturb your property.
At the end of the investigation, CPI lead investigators will give a brief overview of the investigation, but analysis and opinions will be shared at a later date. Bare in mind that in an investigation, the data collected may be quite large and may take time to thoroughly review and examine. In the event that further information is needed prior to our report, you will be contacted.

Last, CPI will set up a final presentation of our findings and our conclusions. Specific evidence (photos, videos, EVP's) will be shared at this time. A copy of such findings will be presented at this time. CPI retains the rights to any and all evidence presented to our clients. Once again, your confidentiality is paramount. We will not share, discuss, or post our findings, in part or totality without express written consent from our clients.

CPI reserves the right to refuse any investigation for any reason we deem necessary. Although we have traveled extensively to do our investigations, we will let you know immediately if the investigation cannot be conducted, and put you in contact with a reputable paranormal group nearest your location.. We will not conduct an investigation if fraud or misrepresentation are suspected. Again, we do this for your protection and ours.
