Author and radio host Jason Day works ridiculously hard at his regular job to ensure he has the time to indulge his other passions - paranormal investigation and writing.
Jason was the longest serving feature writer for ‘Paranormal’ magazine (March 2006 – January 2008), the largest monthly paranormal publication of its kind in the UK at the time.
Jason currently writes for ‘FATE’ magazine in the USA and ‘Ghost Voices’ magazine in the UK. He will also be returning to 'Paranormal' magazine writing features in the near future.
Jason also works with others in the written media, recently conducting soon-to-be-published interviews with some very prominent names in the paranormal community.
Jason’s experience working in the paranormal field has been varied ranging from being a regular co-host on the ‘Friday Night Paranormal Show’ on Pulse Talk Radio, being the featured article writer for the paranormal reference website ghostdatabase.co.uk and also being the chief consultant for Famously Haunted on MySpace. Jason currently hosts Famously Haunted's 'White Noise Paranormal Talk Radio Show' on Blog Talk Radio with Kelly McKenzie and has interviewed such figures in the paranormal community as James Randi, Derek Acorah, Dr Ciaran O'Keeffe, Richard Felix, Jason Karl, Ian Lawman, Mark Webb and Philip Mantle to name but a few.
Future guests confirmed on the show include Nick Pope, Chris French, Stanton Friedman and Brad Steiger.
One of three founding members of a small not for profit, paranormal investigation team by the name of S.P.I.R.I.T (Society for Paranormal Investigation, Research, Information & Truth - established March 2006) Jason’s commitment to investigating and explaining the paranormal continues. The aim of S.P.I.R.I.T is to provide members of the public with assistance in cases where they believe their home or business may be experiencing paranormal activity and provide them with peace of mind, assistance and a resolution (should it be possible to do so).
S.P.I.R.I.T does not and will not ever charge for their services, nor are they a ‘ghost tour’ operator – they investigate in order to better understand the paranormal field, and to assist those who often feel they have nowhere else to turn to resolve or explain strange phenomena.
Jason has, he believes witnessed two spirit manifestations – neither of which have been able to be explained away as a result of any normal, logical phenomena. At this stage they remain ‘paranormal’.
One of these experiences will be included in one of the two books Jason is currently writing, one of which is due for release in 2009.
