LETTER FROM LU



This past week has proven to be quite productive. I updated several of my long forgotten websites and heard from people that I have not seen in ages. I have been working on the chapter addressing demonology and religion in the book, "The Down and Dirty on Paranormal Investigators". It is interesting that the paranormal and the supernatural is the line drawn between dead Uncle Henry and demons. How many religious people have I heard say they do not believe in ghosts but they believe in spirits. How much of this is semantics and how much is a real conceptual difference?

I notice there is a new site, United Paranormal International Wales. The tag-line is "Paranormal Friendship Worldwide." They too have the skull with the glowing eyes type website but they are currently soliciting "friendly" groups. I am not criticizing but it just makes one think, now there is another split to contend with: only those who believe in paranormal unity are going to be united. Now, not only do we have the "believers" and the "non-believers", the skeptics and those too lazy to do any critical thinking, but now we have the friendly and the non-friendly groups. I just do not understand it. Or, maybe I do and that is why it is so frustrating.

I also found a new video for the Rate a Video section. Take a peek and see what you think. Real? Not real? Why? It is interesting to note that no one in the group saw these figures at the time. Shadow-play or playing shadows?

I postponed my little field trip until early August. I have a few paranormal irons in the fire right now that I don't want to miss. I love to travel and road trips are my favorite. I have not decided yet where the destination will be but it will be an adventure!
